China Harbour Nigeria Operation and Maintenance Company Limited (CHOMC) is a specialized infrastructure company incorporated under the Companies and Allied Matters Act, 2022 by China Harbour Engineering Company in partnership with Catamaran Keffi Project Limited, to undertake the Operation and Maintenance (O&M) of highways and bridges across Nigeria. CHOMC has been awarded a 25-year Operation and Maintenance (O&M) Concession for the Abuja-Keffi-Akwanga-Lafia-Makurdi Expressway by the Federal Ministry of Works.

The 227.2 km Abuja-Keffi-Akwanga-Lafia-Makurdi Expressway is a key transportation corridor developed under the Federal Ministry of Works' Highway Development and Management Initiative (HDMI). Connecting major commercial states in North Central and North Eastern Nigeria, the expressway enhances trade, accessibility, and economic integration.
The Operation and Maintenance (O&M) Concession was awarded to China Harbour Nigeria Operation and Maintenance Company Limited (CHOMC), with the road officially commissioned on February 4, 2025, and O&M commencing on February 5, 2025. The expressway features four strategically located toll stations, equipped with advanced tolling technology to ensure seamless, efficient toll payment and optimal road management.
